Commercial Services
Businesses across the Wollongong City Council area can choose to receive a Commercial Recycling and Waste Collection Service.
The Waste to Landfill Bin (red lid) is collected weekly with the FOGO Bin (green lid) while the Recycling Bin (yellow lid) is collected on alternate fortnights.
Your Commercial Recycling and Waste Service consists of three bins:
- Recycling 240L Bin (yellow lid)
- FOGO 240L Bin (green lid)
- Waste to Landfill 80L, 120L or 240L (red lid)
- Commercial Services are NOT entitled to the On-Call Household Cleanup Service
There is a maximum of one full Waste Service (Waste to Landfill, FOGO and Recycling) per commercial premises and up to three additional bins (Recycling and/or FOGO only) and only the property owners can request a changes to the service. Owners will be invoiced directly by Wollongong City Council.
Where the standard services are insufficient; these premises should seek the services from a licensed waste reduction and disposal service provider.
